Our Story

Welcome to Country Paws Boarding and Grooming, the premier destination for pet care in Gibson City, IL. Our journey begins in 2015 when Erica worked for Maryann’s Country Kennels during a summer break from college. After a stint in Chicago pursuing a career as a dolphin trainer, Erica returned home in May 2017 and resumed her position at Maryann’s. By October of the same year, Erica was learning the art of grooming from Maryann herself. When Maryann announced her plans to retire in 2021, Erica knew she wanted to continue her legacy. With her blessing, Erica took over the business in October 2021, rebranding it as Country Paws Boarding and Grooming.

At Country Paws, we take immense pride in the cleanliness of our facility. To ensure a hygienic environment for both our four-legged clients and their owners, we dedicate one day each week to deep cleaning. This is in addition to our rigorous daily cleaning routine, ensuring that every surface and area your pets come into contact with is spotless and sanitized. Our commitment to cleanliness is just one of the many ways we show our dedication to providing the best possible care for your pets.

Our grooming services are tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of each dog and their owner.
